A leaf on the wind. When turning to my husband finishing his burger and fries, I announce I quit my bank job, my fifth bank job, in search of something tangible and delicious in life. He replies, "Sometimes Sweety, you just gotta be a leaf on the wind." This leaf drifted here, ironically....on Helium.
This leaf also completed 127 credited college hours at Texas universities such as Texas Wesleyan Univerisity, Fort Worth, TX. University of North Texas, Denton, TX. Collin County Community College (Quad C), and Tarrant County Community College, Fort Worth, TX. All towards the desired BA in Journalism. Afterall, the course guides never said, "BA in Novel Writing, Degree in writing in the middle of the night drinking chocolate milk" or I would have definately finished that course plan!
I was able to sneak peak into my Junior year at UNT, Denton and write for our college newspaper just one semester. All of my clippings are still nostalgically placed in a binder I stroke lovingly when I accidently tip over that dark blue tote.
I am a trained banker, honed and skilled at the art of customer service. For the fifth time in my life as me. My heart has always been in novels and writing.
Have you ever had a friend come to you with marital woes, to which you replied, You should go see a marriage councilor? Did you leave the message at that, giving your friend time to ponder on his own while you went your merry way? Consider this: your friend was in need and you gave a suggestion as a solution to an immediate problem. Case closed? Well done! Have you ever really thought about that suggestion? Do you have any idea how your friend received this message? Why is this even important? I'll tell you why. Sure you did your civic friendly duty by offering the best solution out there,...
