: About Me

I have no kidneys. They haven't worked for ten years. I am waiting for a transplant and I do dialysis every day. But this is not what defines me.

I love animals, especially my beagles Bentley and Oliver. I enjoy art; my preferred mediums are paint and pencil. I could listen to my iPod for hours. I can't go anywhere without it. If you looked on my iPod, you would find anything and everything every sung by U2, but you'd also find Bob Marley, Widespread Panic, Perry Como, Johnny Cash, Green Day, Ben Harper, The Cure, and so much more. I prefer horror movies to any other, and I hate romantic comedies. I am aspiring horror writer, a novel or maybe even a screenplay. I like the movies of Rob Zombie, Eli Roth, and Sam Raimi. I could watch Food Network all day long, and I love to cook. I also watch Prison Break, 24, Heroes, and I am thoroughly addicted to LOST.

I live with my parents and I enjoy hanging out with my friends whenever I can. We sing karaoke, play board games, and play free on-line Texas Hold 'Em. I'm addicted to the Internet, cigarettes, and soda. And LOST of course. I love Jack Shephard.

Right now I am reading Just After Sunset by Stephen King. He is my hero, my inspiration, and my all-time favorite author. I am also reading The Living Dead, a collection of short stories about zombies, and Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. I got sucked in when my best friend rented the movie. I am intrigued by vampires, zombies, and the general undead. Science fiction fascinates me. I prefer to read fiction rather than non-fiction. The real world just sucks sometimes-war, violence, rape, etc. Not that horror isn't violent. It's not real. People ask me why I enjoy watching people get murdered or stalked or haunted. It isn't just the thrill, it's so I can appreciate my life when the mundane or the medicine starts to get to me. It could be worse. I could be running from a brain-eating zombie.

I will be the first to tell you I do not watch a lot of television. There is one show I will not miss, however, and that is ABC's Lost. It is by far the best television show I have ever seen. It is the only one I have seen every episode of, some multiple times. It is the only television series I will ever own on DVD.
