I am always instructed by those who know better to write "About Me"s in the third person. Well, I don't like to "know better" sometimes. With being just mere words on a screen, I think a personal approach is needed with things like this. Hello, my name is Krissi Lyn Mazon.
I am now thirty years old and if that didn't scare me enough, I have two young sons. My husband is just as nutty as I am, so we're a pretty weird family to say the least. We live in a small, rural area just outside our hometown of Washington, PA.
Writing history ... I've self published some very painful poetry journals. If you are into dark poetry, try looking up my FULL name on lulu.com. As far as non-fiction goes, all of my articles, until this site, have been for Spotlight on Recovery Magazine based in New York. My articles are usually not in third-person point of view either. I find it boring and the words "I" and "you" seem to have flavor for me when I read, so why not use them?
I'm pretty much a home-body, but my brothers usually drag me out once in a great while. I like going to see local bands play. I used to be a musician myself. I try to keep friends at a distance because most women I know bring a lot of drama into a friendship, and sadly, I'm allergic.
Other than the above, I spend time with my kids. I'm a stay-at-home mom thanks to my awesome husband, Bobby, whom I love like life itself. My sons, Jacob and Michael, are both cute lil' hams that I couldn't live without. Anything else you might wanna know about me, just ask.
