I am a writer, a mom, a wife, a blogger and an advocate for the planet.
I love being outside more than anything rain or shine. I am a little quirky but believe that it makes life much more interesting.
My creative blog, Dancing to the music in my head is where I jam out the words that come to me when I should be doing other things. I write about my career, my family, the environment, public relations, being an ecology student in grad school, politics and anything else that catches my fancy. I am pretty outspoken and this is my outlet. Join the conversation!
I also have a professional blog, Everyday Public Relations, where I try to use the PR skills I have learned in everyday life situations. Interesting to say the least. Come by and visit sometimes. Everyone is welcome. I recently started Adventures in Conservation PR to highlight the adventures I have had writing about wildlife conservation while working in public affairs. I am most proud of my joint project with my son - The Little Red Car, a children's book, written blog style which incorporates readers comments into the storyline. I am so glad my children are exploring their creativity.

My parents always told me ...
the road to hell is paved with good intentions
My childhood ambition ...
