Sonnet to Shadow In the stillness of the night; I see your handsome presence, I hear your muted whisper, I feel your chilly embrace. In the darkness of the night; You see my tarnished smile, You hear my empty laughter, You feel my insides crumble. In the silence of the night; We cast our lonely shadow, Dancing under the moonlight, Against the world so hollow. Nothing else really matter; Our souls at last, together. 3 March 2009
