I was born and reared in New York (Long Island to be precise). I went to college in Kentucky and received my Bachelor's Degree in 4-9 Education, Reading, Language Arts, and Communication.

I am married and have 3 wonderful children.

I have my Master's Degree in education. I am an Intervention Specialist (a Special Education Teacher). I have worked with children who have special needs since 2001.
