Recently, I began freelance editing at the urging of friends and family, who have asked me to edit letters, school essays, and other documents over the years. My goal is to provide quality, affordable editing to my clients. My feeling is that editing should be cost-effective and available for everyone, not just those who can afford the outrageous fees charged by most freelance editors.
I graduated from a prestigious private college in Northwestern New Jersey in 2007 with highest honors (3.9 GPA). I received a B.A. in English. Throughout my college career I received numerous awards for my accomplishments in the field of English. I was nominated for the Strickhausen<Memorial Award, and received a Merit Award given by the college in recognition of my writing skills. In 2004, I was a recipient of the United States Achievement Academy's National Collegiate Communication Arts Award for my work as Book Review Editor on the school newspaper. I was actively involved in writing and editing for college newspapers and literary magazines.
I was inducted into Sigma Tau Delta, the National English Honor Society, in 2007. I was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, International Honor Society, in 2004. I am also a member of the New Jersey Writer's Society.
I continue to be an active reader and writer, two interests that are essential to honing and refining editing skills. Now, my goal is to provide quality, affordable editing.
