I have written for newspapers, magazines and online publications, including Helium and Demand Studios. I love the challenges of research and learning new things.
I enjoy reading, gardening and crafting with recycled or re-purposed material. I also enjoy playing video games of all sorts.
My crime-fighting cats, Batman and Robin, assist me with all my projects. Well, they try to, at least.

My childhood ambition ...
was to be an astronaut, a writer and a famous musician. Dreaming big never hurt anyone.
My favorite memory ...
is the vacations I used to take with my family to Lake Michigan.
Why I write ...
I write because I love it. It's the best way for me to express myself and learn new things about the world we live in.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein, hooked on Glee and Survivor, and listening to the wide range of music on my MP3 player. Everything but polka.
My first job ...
was at a library. Not counting writing, it was the best job ever.
My best moment ...
was when my first article was published in the newspaper.
My inspiration ...
is my husband. Whenever I'm running low on ideas he says, "Hey, have you thought about this?" or "What if..."
