: About Me

I am a thirty-something mother of three who has just relocated to the "Heart of Dixie" in Southern Alabama, after being born and raised in New York State. I am finally at a point in my life where I can focus on my passion for writing. I have written many short stories, poems and songs that I would like to get published. That is my goal for 2009. I am the survivor of many things and plan to write about them all. I plan on writing a novel about my life someday. I am proof that you are never too old to start over or accomplish any goals and dreams you may have. Although I feel I may be too old to pursue my singing career, I feel the time is right to focus on writing. I look forward to contributing to Helium and becoming part of a supportive network of writers.

Starting a new life somewhere warm, far away from my abusive mother.

My children's happiness. I want them to be proud of me and find happiness in their lives.

Some people wake up each day feeling disillusioned and overwhelmed. When they look in the mirror, they are reminded of their failures and faults.
