My name is Tora, and I've been actively writing for the past 10 years. I've taken several creative writing classes at Yavapai College, but the majority of my writing-related knowledge comes from hanging out on the Absolute Write and Forward Motion writers' forums.

I'm an avid reader with a strong preference for character-driven fantasy, although I will read just about anything that looks interesting. My dream is to become a full-time novelist someday.

I've owned a number of computers over the years, but none have proven themselves so consistently disappointing as the Hewlett-Packard machines I've purchased in the last three years. The first HP notebook I purchased was a dv2000z, customized to order. I bought it in early 2006, and for just under a year it performed admirably enough.
