: About Me

I currently reside in the high desert of Southern New Mexico but I have been fortunate to have spent most of my life in Colorado and the Southwest Gulf Coast of Florida. These diverse geographical locations have made writing about places and people a delightful experience for me.

I have always loved to write but since retiring I have been able to spend most of my time doing just that! I have written 24 monthly columns for Disabled Dealer titled "Speaking Out". I recently completed my first manuscript. a mystery/adventure located in the swamps of Florida and the high desert of South New Mexico. Titled "The Heat" it is currently going through the rounds in the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Awards. I have also completed a comprehensive non-fiction book proposal for "Lace Curtain Guide to Gaining Control after the Age of Consumerism : Housekeeping". It includes the first three chapters of this first book in a series of four guides.

I began writing on Helium in 2009 but took over a year off while I completed "The Heat". I love researching and writing for the diverse topics available on Helium and hope to be able to spend several hours each day writing on this site.
