: About Me

For the first time in my life I now know what it means to be a woman. After welcoming our first child into the world, I now know the miracles that my body is capable of. Holding my son for the first time made the journey that we went through make sense. First came the struggle even to get pregnant, then came the long pregnancy when I was often times sick and then came our beautiful baby boy who completes our family. As you can probably imagine, I still am just as passionate about my son. Now that he is here, I am very proud to be able to call him my son and take the opportunity to grow a man very seriously.

I am also very passionate about my husband. After countless years of meeting Mr. Wrong, I finally found Mr. Right when I wasn't even looking. I know this is completely a cliche but he is everything I never knew that I always wanted. From the start being with him just felt right. Not to mention that after we met we became instant friends and began to spend every waking hour together. It is also worth mentioning that falling in love with him came natural to me and soon after meeting him I couldn't imagine my life without him. Now three years later, that hasn't changed. We love each other even more with each passing day. We are still just as passionate about our relationship as we were back then if not more. What can I say, I know that I am blessed and I am thankful for that everyday.

These days I am a stay at home mom and wife. Though this has been one of my most difficult jobs, it is also the most rewarding jobs that I have had. It enables me to fuel my two passions which are my husband and son. With job security all around me, at times it becomes a little overwhelming but at the end of the day I am thankful that I get to be there for the both of them. That my life can revolve around my family's needs. Most of all, I don't have to miss a thing when it comes to my son's firsts. It seems that everyday he learns something new and I get to witness him discovering his new surroundings.

My other passion is my hobby if you will. I love to write and have loved to write ever since I was a kid. Every once in awhile it enables me to escape from reality and go into a world all my own. I can dream up whatever I want and make it possible just by putting pen to paper. Other times, it is an outlet for me to write about what I think is right or wrong about the world. I guess you can say it gives me an opportunity to voice my opinion about my beliefs and about politics. Though I don't get to do it nearly as much as I would like, I do it whenever I can and Helium has been a great outlet for me to get my writing out there. Who knows, maybe one day it might even be more than a hobby as I have always imagined that creative writing might lead me down a path to a career that I would love to do someday.

To Love or Not to Love One pivotal moment could have changed my life forever. Everything I had or hadn't done, said or hadn't said ultimately was a big factor in what happened the moment my heart truly skipped a beat.
