WHY DEFEND CHRISTIANITY? Why do we feel we have to? Has God asked us to! In our defense of Christianity, aren't we really trying to vindicate our own personal beliefs? Aren't we attempting to justify our motives and rationalize our actions? If we're not careful, I fear, we begin to emulate the Pharisees and place as much significance on church tradition, rituals and teaching as to our interpretation of God's word.
