I'm just a small town boy born and raised in Fostoria, Ohio currently living in the big city of Toledo, Ohio. Pharmacy school at the University of Toledo brought me here, and my friends have kept me here.
When I decided that pharmacy was too cold and clinical, I jumped ship to major in English with a concentration in writing. Upon graduation jobs were scarce, so I added an integrated language arts teaching license to my Bachelor of Arts in English.
I am currently a substitute teacher at Whitmer High School in Toledo after teaching English for a full semester there. I do not believe that a love for the language should be forced, and that seems to be what is happening when I try to convey my passion to 30 students at a time; therefore, I am attempting to get my little freelance career off the ground! After all, it's been said that it isn't a job if you love what you do.
So (no, I don't mind starting sentences with a conjunction once in awhile), I have a fledgling account started both here at Helium and at elance.com, a site for seeking and hiring freelance work. I love writing, music, NFL football, and my family... not necessarily in that order.
Hopefully, I can talk to all of you when my business website occupies its own tiny corner of the World Wide Web!
