My first short story was about a character named Link from the video game The Legend of Zelda that I wrote when I was 6 or 7 and since then I've developed a niche for short stories. I loved writing in high school, working feverishly and diligently on research and English papers much to the disbelief of my peers. In college, I took a few writing courses, even landing a short story publication in the campus annual literary magazine. My focus centers around real events, serious or comical, that unveil issues about me or others that tell us about our culture or human behaivor.
Besides writing, I'm a twenty-something Midwestern mother of three and wife of one.
