I was born in Georgia, and spent a good part of my childhood traveling. As my father was active duty in the Army, our family has had to move several times as I was growing up. I've also lived in and visited Texas, Virginia, Florida, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Iowa, and Illinois; as well as other countries like Germany, France, Japan, and Egypt. While attending around fifteen different schools throughout my childhood, developing a personality that can adapt to numerous situations with many different types of people had become imperative. I can honestly say that I'm grateful to have experienced other cultures, but now as an adult, my least favorite thing to do is travel!
Since I was a child I've had a passion for writing. Even in the middle of my high school years, as an extremely troubled teen with diminishing grades, I still took pride in all of my school related and personal writings, and (almost) never submitted an assignment that was less than outstanding. I luckily outgrew this irresponsible adolescent phase, but my love for writing still remains.
