Mother-in-laws are uncanny characters. Some are meant to be loved by their son's girlfriends or wives and others are meant to make their lives a living hell! The worst thing about them is that they are always unpredictable and they manage to show their true colors when it is too late to run. The best example of the worst mother-in-law is Albert Peterson's mother in the play 'BYE BYE BIRDIE'. She is much worse than Marie from 'Everybody Loves Raymond' because unlike Raymond-who knows his mother is crazy, Albert is completely oblivious and does not understand that he should not be controlled...
