About me - Laurie Cirivello

About me

I am an avid traveler, photographer and video producer. I have worked professionally in the media production and distribution world for nearly 20 years. My favorite personal projects have involved video travel guides, mini-documentaries about people and their lives, and phot essays of cultural artifacts. Most of my professional career has been spent helping people and organizations learn about and use media and technology to strenthen their communities.

I am the proud mom of two smart, independent and fascinating young men. My husband and best friend of 26 years is a professional librarian. We enjoy traveling and visiting flea markets together. We especially enjoy exploring new cuisines and local cultures.

In my spare time I paint, make jewlery and play the piano.

No back-story. No anchor to what came before. I was very fortunate to be raised by loving parents (and yes, they are my parents). Adopted ...
