Experience:

Community development professional, and worked in Sri-Lanka as well as in other countries for more than 24 years. 

Visiting professor-Bay Path College, Springfield,MA  and Bridge water State College, Bridge-water, MA for two and half years.

Free lance researcher, and have researched on multiple subject areas and have published articles.I am particularly interested in grant writing, and preparation of project proposals and writing business plans.

Education: PhD(Geography) Clark University Worcester, Massachusetts. 

In my Doctoral thesis, I examined how the attitudes and behaviors of politicians, bureaucrats, as well as of community leaders affect sustenance of the rural and community development efforts.

Travel: West Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Thailand,Philippines, Japan, and Mexico, for conferences,studies or as a resource person.
