I am a health psychologist in private practice. I specialize in helping people who struggle with emotional eating and consequent weight and health problems. I am also very interested in the area of patient non-compliance and I'm working with other profesionals to develop an educational approach that will help doctors better understand their patients' barriers to adherence and to use that knowledge to tailor their approach to the individual patient's needs.
In addition to my work as a health psychologist, I have worked as a management consultant, helping companies with assessment, executive coaching, and leadership development. In my spare time, I am working on a book about emotional eating. When I am not working I enjoy volunteering for organizations that I care about, especially when I can draw on my professional expertise to help out. My current goal is to bring my golf handicap below 20.
