My name is Dennis Hogan. Let me start by letting you know that I am straightforward and honest in how I work, play, and socialize. I enjoy a good topic debate and will always call it the way I see it. I feel that ignorance is one of the deadly sins and have always enjoyed learning. I have two occupations in life that just so happen to involve my two most beloved areas of interest. I'm formally educated in both of these areas as well as very experienced.
One of those areas is dogs. Training, behavior modification, and ehtological study of the domesticated canine. My knowledge of dogs and how they learn, or how we need to train them, is extremely broad. I deal only in scientific theory backed by formal research ,observation, and experience when it comes to training. Basically I'm more concerned in how the dog sees things than I am in the human's interpretations. If you want the truth about the how and why of the different training protocols then I am the person to ask for a factual based answer instead of just an opinion. Over 38 years experience includes hands on application and research, formal study and research, and a pure love for dogs. I have recently (2007) completed a doctorate dissertation which substantiates my domesticated canine learning theory.
The second area is Business. 24 years of experience owning, running, and consulting small to middle market businesses. Formal education resulting in a PhD. I take a realistic approach to business using my experience and natural analytical ability. Although my training and experience qualifies me for an executive level corporate leadership position I have made the conscious choice based on my ideology and restless nature to remain self employed and allow businesses and individuals access to my services to bring a higher level of prosperity to themselves and their businesses. I have created "The Time Share CEO" consulting process which allows small business to have access to Major corporate CEO level assistance on an as needed basis. This allows small companies to benefit from the same structure as major corporations. For more you can visit my website www.businessphd.com Recently, because of the economy, debt issues have moved from a minor area of my consulting to a front running issue. This has become such a dynamic part of the average American's life that through repeated requests I have opened up and began providing services to individuals, on a limited basis, as well. I've always provided debt mediation as part of my business consulting services but it is a new focused service as of late.
I am easy to talk with and am always willing to share not only my knowledge and experience but also my opinions. but I always differentiate between opinion and fact and that they may or may not be the same.

Slowpitch softball! What a wonderful game it used to be with true restricted flight balls and before technology invented such amazing bats. I can still remember games with scores in the low single digits because of excellent defense and the restricted nature of the balls and bats. Now it is a different story scores sometimes exceed 30 and 40 runs. The pitching aspect of this wonderful game is controlled by the league or association who sets the standard or rules defining a legal pitch. Generally a person can develop the skills to be a good pitcher simply by measuring out the correct distan...
