Hi, I'm a retired teacher, diagnosed with an obsessive compulsive personality disorder. I play classical piano, work with children's groups at church, swim a mile every day and try not to go out of the house too much otherwise.
I've never been married(the obsessive compulsive thing tends to annoy men) and at this point I don't much care although I do wish I had had children. Ah well, they'd probably be nuts, too.
I have an active imagination. I've written some truly epic novels(in my mind) but I've never been able to get them down on paper because I never could get that first sentence just exactly the way I wanted it. Recently the shrink put me on some new meds which I assume has helped with that problem. Something has helped because suddenly I'm quite prolific. I've written about 75 short stories in the last two months. The downside to this being that I find myself being significantly less concerned about punctuation. I have to go back and re-read on several occasions, looking for grammatical errors, before I feel comfortable publishing. For that reason, I've only shared a couple of stories. But eventually I will share more.

And, she was leaving town tomorrow as soon as her meeting was over. So it had to be t...
