Hi,

I'm Dave Schneider, born February 21st, 1964 in Brooklyn, N.Y. Raised in South Florida and this is where I currently reside. My career has been in the Fire Service for the last 26 years. I have an extensive medical background as a Professional Paramedic and Emergency Medical Services Instructor. I enjoy writing in both the fictional and non-fictional arenas and have extensive research work in the areas of sports medicine, diet and exercise. I have 2 children, a boy and a girl and am currently in a relationship with my best friend Roxann.

The day was perfect, clear blue skies, temperature was mild and comfortable, what a beautiful day, Travis thought for his first field trip. Travis had just moved to Florida from N.Y. and had entered the 5th grade at his new elementary school. He was very excited at the thought of the opportunity to explore a park that was close to the ocean and to do this during school hours was a cool idea.
