As a first-time mom, I vastly underestimated the number of diapers I would be changing on a daily basis.  Infants can go through as many as 12 diapers a day!  Naturally, you need a place to put all these wet and dirty diapers - preferably somewhere where you won't be smelling them all day. My husband and I picked up the Diaper Genie 2 on a recommendation from a friend and it has been amazing.  We live in a tiny apartment and have the diaper genie in our bedroom.  I'm pleased to say that the only time we smell the diapers is when changing the insert!  It's tall, but...
