Ann is a published writer whose work has appeared in various national magazines and literary journals. These include print and digital publications such as VFW Magazine, Office Depot Business News, Florida Living, Modern Haiku, Triplopia, and Holistic Education News. She received a Pushcart Prize nomination for her poem, "Breath" and has been anthologized in Letters to the World (Red Hen Press, 2008).
Her background includes news writing, feature and freelance writing for trade and consumer markets, and writing for academic and technical markets.
She has also acted as editor, publisher and professional blogger and worked as a graphic and web designer.
Ann earned her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing in 2008 from Antioch University Los Angeles, one of the top five low residency writing programs in the nation. She has undergraduate degrees in Journalism and Legal Studies.
Currently, Ann teaches college composition classes at a large private university, and is enjoying a return to freelance writing.
