St. Patrick's Day is almost upon us and, if you are planning to be in or around Lexington, there will be no shortage of fun and interesting ways to spend your day. Begin your morning at 8am on the corner of Broadway and Short Street with the Shamrock Shuffle 3K, a charity race to benefit the Pat Smith Habitat for Humanity.  While it will cost you about $20 to participate, take comfort in the fact that you're supporting a good cause and that you're starting your St. Patty's Day celebration off right with fun and fitness for the entire family.
