Hi, Everyone,
I write to inform the public of what is happening to the Men and Women who served our country and agreed to lay down their lives if required in defence of what we stand for: Freedom for all! It is sad to see one out of four homeless people on the streets who are Homeless Veterans. Wars are not popular in the minds and memories of Americans and they quickly forget those who served and came back damaged. The VA basically patches them up and sends them on their way with a bag of medication. Unless a Veteran knows what to ask and who to ask it too, the VA will not go out of it's way to help a vet and this leads to frustration and self medication and homelessness. It is a Sad road and a vicious cycle for them.
Remember that ALL gave SOME and SOME gave ALL!
FEEL FREE TO VISIT THIS SITE: www.usvetsinc.org and see for yourself what a group of Veterans got together to assist as many Vet as they could in 1993.

The VA can make applying for benefits very time consuming and confusing for the average Veteran, so here are a few tips to consider. First, contact the National Archives and use their E-vet on-line application process to send for your DD-214, Military Records, Medical inpatient records, Military Outpatient records, and your awards and commendations. This process will have to be repeated for each request and a signature page faxed to the National Archives for each request. (Be sure the request goes through by receiving the confirmation page). Second, go to the VA website and enter V.O.N.A.A...
