I started writing in my teenage years, mostly as a way to escape and express what I was feeling in my chaotic existence. One of my high school teachers noticed my talent and encouraged me to write. I won a couple of awards in High School, but after graduation my writing went on the back burner and marriage and children took center stage. I never stopped writing, but it was usually for myself or for loved ones.
Life has taken me on a long challenging journey which has led me to where I am today. I've always had a passion to write and have now chosen to overcome my fear of rejection and to use my God given talent for something greater than myself.
I have a wonderful husband, 5 sons and an adorable 2 year old grandson. All of them rock my world! I am a Christian and have a deep love for the Lord. When I am not writing I can usually be found singing and worshiping. My other hobbies include photography, scrap-booking, gardening, home improvement tasks and reading.
