About me - Sherri Trevino

About me

I worked in the airfreight industry as an Accounting Supervisor/Manager for about 20 years. Burned out and frustrated, I made a career change late in life and started selling Real Estate. Times are hard in the Real Estate market, so I am currently inactive.  While working so hard all my life, I always wanted to be able to spend leisurely time at home.  That is exactly what I am doing now....anything I want to.

I am married, have four children, and three stepchildren. Two of our seven children are still living at home. Of course, they are not really "children" any more. I have five grandsons and two granddaughters, who are my pride and joy. I also have two dogs, who might as well be my babies.

My secret ambition in life was to be a writer. Until recently, I only pursued it in my dreams. I was too busy being wife, mother, and boss to be able to write. My desk drawers hold all my work to date, which includes an unfinished novel, several children's stories, and various other projects. So now that I finally have more free time, I can put myself out there and see if my talent is worthy!

I was more than willing to pay for that flight in order to go on the cruise. At the time I was dating someone, and of course, I asked him to go with me. The cruise was several months away, and our relationship fizzled out before time to take the...
