I'm a passionate traveler and reader of books on all topics. I have a Master in Data Mining and a PhD in computer science, in software engineering. I took also pedagogy courses and I have a special interest in education as I think that education is crucial for our lives and our children's lives.
I am currently living in a small town in the Alps, in South Tyrol, where I am teaching software engineering at the university, doing research, learning foreign languages, skiing, and trying to find time for all my ideas.

Conficker appeared in 2008 and rapidly made the headlines all over the world infecting more than 6 million computers in only 4 days according to IBNlive. More than one year after its birth, the Conficker virus is less of a media star, but not less menacing to Windows computers all around the world.
