About me

For some of us, writing finds us young. I was one of those fortunate souls. I began writing at the age of 12. My fifth grade English teacher gave me praise when I wasn't expecting it. It has been a source of therapy and healing through the years.

Helium has been a wonderful discovery, allowing me to flex long forgotten muscles and thoughts. Anyone looking for a stage...come one come all.

I went to the docks like I said I would. I watched the gulls swarm the sky in their infinite numbers. You told me quarter to one, but it's almost two. I'm sure it was obvious I was waiting for you. The passers by looked at me so strangely, but I smiled to hide my disappointment. There was no need for them to know I wore this dress for you.
