Seventy years ago the recovery rate from alcoholism hovered at 70%. Today it is nearer 10. I have spent the last 15 years studying the causes for this. It became clear that a return to the original intent and process reverses the downward trend and recovery rates skyrocket. Because of this I developed a simple teaching regimen based on the original 12 step path with historical reference for context.
Having now instructed over a thousand people in the last decade; both classically addicted or just struggling, in this way of living it is my experience that this path offers not only a life addiction free but provides a foundation for living that works in troubled times for all, the principles timeless.
Having been in the recovery community for over 23 years, I have been teaching the 12 step path for over 13 years to those seeking guidance as well as using the 12 step path to teach spiritual principles and ethics to at risk High School students for 4. I teach and speak on these principles at Sober Living By The Sea in Newport Beach as well.
I have been a licensed general contractor/designer for over 25 years as well. In the course of my building career I tackled many projects that others wouldn't touch because they were a tad unusual. What is life if you don't stretch your limits.
I have one book in print: HIGHTOWER CHRONICLED
