I have been freelance copywriting for 11 years for real estate agents in Melbourne Australia. I have two boys, 8 and 6, who are just the most beautiful boys you'll ever meet (and I'm not biased!).
We live in the Bayside suburbs in Melbourne, just a 7 minute walk to an absolutely gorgeous beach and nature reserve where you can snorkel, climb the rocks or just sunbathe in complete seclusion.
We are quite lucky in our existence, however, now that both my boys are at school this year, I find 2009 will be a year for change.
My husband and I have run our own businesses together for 8 years - he as an art consultant, me in writing.
In 2008, I had the travel bug. I applied for my first passport and received it in April, and by early June I was in London seeing my old school friend Tracy, where I spent 8 days with her, including a day in Paris and 3 days traveling to the north of England to the Lakes District (Beatrix Potter/Wordsworth country). In August, I went to New Zealand with my sister Michelle to see our aunt for her 60th birthday. I wanted to share all my experiences with my boys, so I rushed off to get their passports and we had 8 days in Fiji at the end of November, then home for 2 days, and back on the plane to New Zealand to see David Beckham play football in an exhibition match in Auckland.
So far for 2009, we were caught in the Victorian Bushfires for my sisters wedding, we saw the West Coast of the United States over Easter - 4 days in Los Angeles (Disneyland and Universal Studios for the boys!) 2 days in Seattle and a 3 day drive back to Los Angeles via San Francisco; I started my Masters in Writing so I canendeavor to find new and wonderful ways to get my writing out into the world and my husband started a new job on the seas, so while he is away, I can rediscover more about myself. This is a journey that I want to last for the rest of my lifetime...
We're definitely not boring. I want to experience everything, not say 'no' to anything and learn to take risks. The beauty of all this, as a writer, is that it's all research in the end.

An international romance is exhilarating, liberating, full of imagination and lust. It awakens your senses, it allows you to reconnect with your own wants and desires. It's about communication and connection - something that is lost in a face to face physical relationship, because life is busy and we miss the intimate details that are staring at us in the face when we are complacent to those surrounding us. An international on-line romance breaks all boundaries. The most beneficial attribute in an international on-line romance is that you make time for each other. There are cultural differ...
