About me - Jude Frost

About me

I strive to be taken seriously as a writer and I write mainly about the subjects I am familiar with. I write mainly about pets/animals and the LGBT community. I don't believe in writing about things I have no knowledge of, so I asure you that all of what I write are things I have taken time to carefully and extensively study along with drawing from my own pesonal experience.

Personal experience with the LGBT community:
I am gender queer, and I am apart of the Queer Coalition. I stay updated with my friends on myspace who organize different LGBT community sites, profiles, and clubs. I have friends who are heterosexual, gay, lesbian, transgender, and gender queer.
I stay updated with the LGBT community by keeping in touch with a group of us on stickam, and by meeting regularly we are informed about any events in the country involving the LGBT community such as; conventions, pride festivals, certain known holidays or days to remember, parades, and more.

If anybody is looking for other sites with this same interests I would reccomend youtube with the certain groups who do FAQs or even myspace, because they have many groups and certain profiles set up.

Helpful books I have read include; Middle Sex and Dress Codes.
A movie I recommend to everyone is For the Bible Tells Me So, and this is a documentary dealing with the reality of being apart of the LGBT community as well as being Christian. Another movie I recommend are Prayers for Bobby.

Personal experience with pets: I have two cats Piglet and Nosy, four of my grandmothers dogs Margi, Sheeba, Sid Kissious, Roxy, and then my dog Taco and my puppy Beethoven. Piglet is an orange tabby and nosy is a black and brown colored tabby. Margi and Sid are Chihuahuas, Roxy and Taco are part miniature Doberman Pinschers and Chihuahuas, Sheeba is a Pomeranian shitsu and my puppy is a wired hair Jack Russell who is a big dog in a little body. I have had mainly beta fish and a frog. Having a roommate I have helped take care of two grown guinea pigs and a baby guinea pig, two rats, and two hermit crabs.
I keep myself updated with pet information from different sites on google but also staying updated with the Banfield website and also by going to the dog park on a regular basis to meet other people, to train my pets, and to get local and state information about pets and the contests.

A little about myself. My pen name is Jude Frost. Jude was always one of my favorite names and Frost is a last name that runs in my family on my mother's side. I am mainly Mexican, Aztec, Norweigen, and German. The smaller fractions that make up my heritage are; Italian, Irish, English, Choctaw, French, and Dutch. I have a passion for art in every form, and I have a great love for writing. I'm genderqueer as I've mentioned above and I am in a relationship with a wonderful girl. I am Christian and have a strong relationship with God, while remaining accepting and loving of others in their own religion and relationship with God.
My favorite authors include; Ray Bradbury, George Orwell, Kafka, Jhonen Vasquez, Edgar Allen Poe, and Emily Dickinson.
A few of my favorite books include; Fahrenheit 451, Martian Chronicles, Animal Farm, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, The Trial, Wrinkles in the Water, Dress Codes, Middle Sex.

Creative Writing > Short Stories Short stories: A Halloween romance

Will you marry me? Halloween, a time of year where we watch Rocky Horror Picture Show endlessly and just as many times do the Time Warp out of sync with a group of friends. You can hear Halloween parties with music on every street and laughing kids running door to door to see who gives out the king size bars and which silly houses dare to give out pennies. Each house occupied with buckets of candy to be eaten during the zombie mayhem and slasher films. This is my favorite holiday and yet there is one person missing from this magical night. Heather, a girl I had met at college and become ac...
