I am a 56 yrs young mother of two daughters: 32 yr and 37yr, grandmother of one 2yr old girl. I have recently retired and started to write a novel. I have a passion for reading and writing.

I live in Canada. No, not with the Eskimos... My home town is one hour from Ottawa Ontario as from Montreal Quebec and also from the U.S. border Very well centered and in the tranquility of nature on the banks of the Ottawa River. I live in a one bedroom home that I bought in 1992 after my marriage was dissolved. I have slowly renovated it to suite my lifestyle, over a period of ten years. I am also a junior drafter. I have designed and built a few houses and planned many renovation contracts. My primary bread winner was with Canada Post Corporation in the retail field. That is what I have retired from.

What it means to be civilized. To be civilized means to be able to live in harmony with one another. Hum... I don't think we are there yet. Don't you agree? As a matter of fact, I think we took a wrong turn in Albuquerque!... We are possibly going the wrong way, in my opinion... Way... off-course... The more time goes by, the more mankind strays away from being civilized. We can pretend to be so, we can even lie to ourselves but the truth is we are anything but civilized. We are cunning, deceiving, envious, dishonest and selfish. We even kill our neighbors in the name of 'Civilization'. Wh...
