About me - Le Grand Chef

About me

I have been a professional writer in magazines and newspaper for almost two decades. My work involves the environment and the outdoors including fishing, camping and all manner of non-extreme outdoor sports. I have been published in Outdoor Canada, Ducks Unlimited Conservator, In-fisherman and Hunt/Point in the U.S. I was a columnist in Canadian Sportfishing Magazine. Also I was a field editor for the Provincial Angler and Canadian Camper. I have sold photographs to all the above mentioned publications as well as articles and photos to the Ottawa Sun and the Ottawa Citizen newspapers.

In my life before marriage I was and still am a chef. I now lean towards pasrty but am fully skilled at the other arts of food preperation.

I am adept at handling power tools and have built cottages and homes. I dabble at watercolours and hunt animals, with a camera.

I have been to college and trained as a small engine mechanic, baker and florist.
