February 1990-Present FREELANCE WRITER

I have written a weekly sports column for 8-14 Kansas newspapers for the past 17 years. This column is also available online at the Salina radio station's website; you can inspect it by going to www.ksallink.com and clicking on "sports" and then "Mac's editorial." In addition, I have written a weekly golf column for an online newsletter that has been ongoing for the past 15 years. I've also had articles published in national magazines, the most recent a golf article in the May 2007 issue of The Elks Magazine.

I have either been engaged in writing or studied the craft almost every day for the last 23 years. My computer skills are, for the most part, self-taught. During the past 17 years, I have had more than 1 million words published.
