About me

Hello, my name is Melinda and I live in Ontario, Canada. Reading and writing have been my hobbies of choice for as long as I can remember. Helium is my first attempt at writing in a public forum and it has been a great experience for me.

The scope of this site is amazing. No matter what your favorite genre, you can find it here. The diversity of subject matter is equalled only by that of the writers themselves.

I grew up with five brothers and no sisters, and for the most part, I liked it that way. I am a perpetual student and am always involved in some sort of continuing education.

While most of my writing is based on life experiences, some is not. I often leave it up the reader to decide which is which.

There is far too much judgment of others going on in our world today. We see it in the playgrounds at school, in the classroom and in our work environments. To judge someone should not be a part of our purpose in life. To some, the jump to judgment has become somewhat of a national sport.
