: About Me

I am 28 years old, living with an ongoing addiction.... a love for words and writing. In connection with these loves is my admiration for creation and the environment.

I have been married for eleven years. This journey lends much oportunity to articulate every facet of life. I am thankful for these experiences each day.

I also hope to encourage the advantages of living a clean, vegetarian, lifestyle. The benefits of taking care of our bodies and our minds contribute to the sanity and the contentment that most crave today. The human body is a machine! Work it hard and often.... You won't believe what will emerge.

I love to design and to reinvent. That is why I love anything with a story. I am always enamoured by old things. To be able to incorporate them with new ones, is to me what makes a home feel alive. It combines history with the present into one moment, and that to me is beautiful.

As you have noticed, I am new to helium. I have never really written for others before.... I am aching to get writing, and see just what it may evolve into.

My parents always told me ...

"You are so dramatic" I protested the power companies tree cutting as a teen. I've always fought for a cause or purpose.

My childhood ambition ...

To create ANYTHING that was my own. Through art, writing, fashion, design, whatever it may be, as long as it was my own.

My favorite memory ...

TOO many, some recent: seeing my daughters smile when her art was featured for the month of November in a calendar that over 1,000 other kids had drawn for. Witnessing her inner artist developing is breathtaking. During a hectic day, my husband told me i was beautiful. A day with minimal makeup, unwashed, pulled up hair, a day i felt the farthest from being beautiful, UNTIL he said it.

Why I write ...

It is who i am, when i feel the most "real" and fulfilled. Because I NEVER fail at it.

What I am reading/watching/listening to ...

the Bible, magazines when I am afforded the luxury, Jack johnson, ben harper,John Mayer, coldplay, Matt costa, mason jennings...any tunes with music that speaks, has a purpose, or makes a difference in the way we think!

My first job ...

driving a beverage cart on a golf course, where I was able to read and write when customers were slow.

My best moment ...

This one, because it is revealing a little about me, and because it is the "present."

My inspiration ...

EVERYTHING AROUND ME, because I am fortunate that so many instances surrounding me, initate inspiration on a daily basis.

An amazing moment has begun for me. It would be my deepest desire that everyone could be enriched with the moment I speak of. To know it, to feel its breath, it is almost indescribable.
