Hello Everyone. I am really excited about writing articles. There is so much knowledge to learn and write about. This is what keeps me sane! I am 50 years old, have been married 31 years, have 2 grown kids and am finding my new self! My husband is terminally ill and I left my career job to care for him at home. I didn't want to put him in a nursing home. He has taken care of me all these years and now it's my turn.
I have lived in 4 different states, worked in many different industries including an assistant newspaper editor. That was one of my favorite jobs. Article writing is now my new niche. It gives me the freedom to work when I want (which just might be in the middle of the night!).
My daughter is in college majoring in photography and my son is a welder. I am very proud of them. My family means the world to me. I am looking forward to making new friends and coworkers and hope you enjoy my articles!

I learned very quickly that I was NOT going to be a beautician! I promised myself that I would never become as picky about my hair as those women in that shop! Because my mother was a beautician, I got to be the guinea pig for her and the other beauticians. I was the model for every hair cut, every style, every color and every permanent on the market! Some days I would have to go to school with an old lady haircut! Needless to say, kids...
