I am a writer, artist, designer, former vocalist and beginning photographer. My first book - Present: New Poems/Song to the Beloved - is a book of spiritual, social, political and love poetry set to music. Included as part of the text are some of my illustrations and early black and white photography.

My passion is ...
Music, always and forever.
I know too much about ...
Stupid stuff.
My parents always told me ...
You're weird. You're very, very weird. And you use big words. Are you sure you're our kid?
My childhood ambition ...
To sing and create beauty in the Universe.
My favorite memory ...
A dream I had after my Great-Grandmother died of me sitting on her lap as a toddler eating cookies.
Why I write ...
To write is to live.
What I am reading/watching/listening to ...
Music is my first love and I usually have a CD or the radio on while I work. I don't watch a lot of T.V. anymore, but I always try to catch "The Colbert Report" and "The Daily Show" on Comedy Central. For excellent as well as entertaining news coverage, I always watch "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" on MSNBC. I also enjoy watching Charlie Rose, Bill Moyers, and Jim Lehrer report the news on PBS.
My first job ...
Babysitting.
My best moment ...
Still waiting...
My inspiration ...
The Big "G"=WE=Love
