I live in North Wales with my husband, son and our guinea pigs, budgies and goldfish! I gave up my full time job as a broadcaster to be a full time Mummy to my son who is now 4. I now work as a freelance writer and broadcaster. My degree is in Philosophy and Politics and I'd love to do my masters sometime in the future.
I enjoy reading, writing, singing and playing saxophone.

My inspiration ...
My son.
Ladybird, my step dad called her. And it suited her too. She was petite and pretty and flitted around rather like one. My Mum was always going from one place to another, always busy and rarely still. 'I can't grow anything' Mum used to say. And she was right. Nothing in a pot ever lasted very long. I've lost count of the beautiful bowls so full of colour that were so easily replaced with brown leaves, crumbling as you looked at them. The borders in the garden never quite managed what she hope they would and the pots on the patio didn't keep their colour for long. Yet, my mum loved flowers....
