Originally from South Africa, I am a newlywed living in the USA. I am an experienced freelance writer, writing mostly articles for website content and newsletters. A few of my subject matter include: parrots, dogs, cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, SEO marketing, social networking, ecommerce, executive coaching, small business management, esoteric religion, Reiki and alternative healing techniques for humans and pets.

I am the webmistress for three of my own ecommerce and informational service websites. I am also a Reiki Master/Teacher and have experience in creating my own Teaching Manuals, writing and editing those manuals, and marketing my own classes.

I also breed parrots and dogs (Boerboels) and conduct Animal Behaviour Consulting. I am quite passionate about animals and equally passionate about writing.

Just as with other domesticated pets like cats and dogs, obesity is a serious problem in pet rabbits. Obese pet rabbits are not able to maintain a happy lifestyle due to their large size and body fat percentage ratio. Dwarf Rabbits and middle aged rabbits that are kept in their cages for long periods of time without any outside exercise, are at a greater risk of developing obesity that other breeds and ages of rabbits.
