I always told myself I would write someday. After retiring from my public servant career in August 2008, I realized that "someday" is here. I now have time to pursue my love of writing. I had planned to take a creative writing course at the local college, and then I discovered Helium. Helium is better, as a class may have afforded me to write three or four papers, possibly not on subjects of my choice, for a grade. Here, I have a chance to see what others think of my writing, and am not limited as to how much or how often I can write, and I am finding so many interesting subjects to choose from. I enjoy seeing what others write and enjoy rating almost as much as I do writing. If anything I say clicks with you, I'd love to hear about it. If anyone has any constructive criticism for me, I'd welcome that as well.
