I am a mother, wife, and writer. I also direct the International Student Program at a small independent boarding school. I am of Bengali (Indian) decent, and my passion for Yogic and Buddhist philosophy is inborn. I studied English Education at NYU and later went on to earn my MS in Natural Health and become a Registered Yoga Teacher. I absolutely love being a mother and working with teenagers. Kids keep me young, and writing keeps me sane.
