I live in Castle Pines North, Colorado. I have been married for 30 years and have two adult sons and an 18 month grandson. I have a BA in writing from the University of Colorado. I enjoy writing about lighter side of life. To me, there is humor in just about everything. I have had a dozen plus articles published in the Your Hub insert of the Rocky Mountain News/Denver Post since October 2007.

Dear Mr. President, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations on becoming the 44th president of this great country. You have broken down barriers that seemed immovable and achieved what no other man in United States history has done. Becoming the first African-American president was no small feat on your part, but will be recorded in the history books as a great victory for us all.
