I am currently a lecturer, educational writer and facilitator of the entrepreneurial education programs @ Southbank Institute of Technology in Brisbane, Australia. I deliver these courses along with mentoring and coaching of entrepreneurs in a role I like to describe as New Venture Architect.
The entrepreneurial training at Southbank includes 4 short courses in business Modelling, Starting an Online Business; Bootstrap Marketing for startups; and Cashflow funding for Startups. We also offer the nationally recognised post graduate qualification in entrepreneurship called The Vocational Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship;.
Prior to this role, I have spent 20 years being an entrepreneur and 5 years working with entrepreneurs in my capacity of Senior Analyist for a Merchant Bank. I have personally started over 13 new businesses involving 30 separate outlets.
My current role gives me the time to reflect on my experience and share what I have learned through sites like Helium. Ultimately, I want to be part of what I believe will be the biggest opportunity in the first half of the 21st century - Open Online Education for the planet.

Winston Churchil and his mantra - "Never give up"
Simplicity of life There comes a time in every life, when fear will cease, despite how rife. No money needs, no future fears, no lost esteem, this moment hears. Life's purpose clear, this single goal, the body's focused, so too the soul. Both king and serf together exist, their journey of life brought down to but this. A few extra beats, a tortured breath, the simplicity of life, in our last bout with death.
