I personally believe that you should always use positive reinforcement when training your dog. Dogs are so eager to please their master there really is no need for anything else. Dogs tend to do whatever works best for them and if they have a person loving them then the possibilities on what they will learn is endless. Always talk in an upbeat excited voice when teaching your dog and they will respond with the same sense of excitement.
