Treasured moments: summertime fun with children & grandchildren, parenting foster children, slipping into the spa with a friend and a glass of wine, walking on a deserted beach, or waking to the sounds of nature

States I've resided in: CA, CN, HI, IA, IL, MD,NE, NV, SC I have visited 39 of our beautiful states. Each one has unique sites to see and things to experience.

Favorite Book the last one I've read or the last one I've written! I love to share the joy of reading with my grandchildren and students. Learning the value of knowledge and the power it gives us is an invaluable lesson.

Achievements: gave a safe and loving home to foster children; gave students the Aha experience; mentored a community service group for teenagers for 6 years; played the piano; sang the lead in an operetta;

Goals: Share my first published books with children; encourage children to write through workshops and contests; Retire soon enough to enjoy the experience.
