With an education in Journalism and a public relations career in corporate America, my best friend is my notepad and pen.
For 15 years, my life in the Big Apple involved writing press releases, bios, scripts, speeches and other business documents for doctors, the pharmaceutical industry and a dozen or more celebrities and athletes.
In 2007, a serious back injury forced my career to come to an abrupt end. If I had not met my future husband, planned our wedding and conceived a beautiful daughter that same year, depression certainly would have set in! Instead, it was a year of new beginnings. Considering my fortieth birthday was peeking its head around the corner, I conceded to embrace what I proudly call the second phase of my life.
In 2008, creative writing became my passion and a memoir was born while I was pregnant with my daughter. As 2009 creeps in, it is time to put my creativity to work online.
